Find A Piece of History

I love stuff. I love stuff so much that I frequently go to discount stores, yard sales and antique shops to peruse through the piles of stuff. My apartment is filled with so many knick-knacks that whenever anybody walks in, it’s the first thing they comment on. And I love it. It might sound strange, but antiquing is one of the ways that I relieve stress. I like meandering through an antique shop and finding a piece of history.

Very frequently after I have had a tough day, or I just need to spend a day doing what I want to, I go to an antique store and look around. There’s one shop that I have been to before and highly recommend. It’s located in Carytown in Richmond, and it’s one of my favorites. This antique store is called Sheppard Street Antiques (http://sheppardstreetantiques.com/), and can be found on – you guessed it – Sheppard Street. Sheppard Street Antiques have even been voted one of the best in Richmond.

When you need a break, and want to get away, go antiquing. You never know what you’ll find, and I’ve found some good stuff at Sheppard Street! I first went when my friend, who lives in Richmond, took me into Carytown and showed me the shop. Need to take a moment and get lost? Go antiquing.
