#OptOutside
The US Deaprtment of the Interior is encouraging people to think about spending their holidays a little differently. Instead of spending the day after Thanksgiving Day being thankful for doorbuster sales, the DOI is suggesting that people spend another day being thankful for the natural beauty around us. The #OptOutside campaign is encouraging people to spend their day in one of the 59 national parks in the United States.
"This week, when you feel the need to push yourself away from the table and take a break from Thanksgiving events, we encourage you to #OptOutside. Chances are, there’s a park, wildlife refuge or other public lands a short drive away."
