The World of Beer & Music
I'm always looking online at venues to see if they have live shows coming up. Thankfully, I was able to find in Charlottesville that The World of Beer will be hosting a band from Harrisonburg, VA (where our team is based out of!), The Dawn Drapes.
The Dawn Drapes are an alternative indie-rock band. I know this type of music isn't everyone's personal taste, but I can't recommend seeing them more! The Dawn Drapes have traveled all across the East coast and Virginia doing shows, from Washington D.C. to local venues in their native town of Harrisonburg. They even frequent one of my favorite downtown locations in Harrisonburg, Clementines. If you're in the Charlottesville area and are itching to see some quality live music, this band is one of the best.
Along with kickin' back, relaxin' and seeing some good musicians, The World Of Beer offers over 550 different types of beer (although not at one time, of course). World of Beer has an extensive selection of craft beers. To top it off, World of Beer has an incredibly friendly staff. Grab a beer (if you're of legal age, of course) and listen to alternative indie music this weekend. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
