This week, we are going to Northern “Nova” Virginia. The Nova/DC area is a lively location booming with activities for 20 somethings. When you’re done seeing the monuments and after you’ve had brunch with the Obamas, stop by An American in Paris! Located in Old Town Alexandria, Va, An American in Paris is a traditional French boutique in our nation’s capital. The store offers unique one-of-a-kind pieces at reasonable prices. They carry Farinaz blouses, Le Phare, CUE, Biya, Love and Liberty, Smitten, Sequoia Paris Handbags and many more!

An American in Paris began in 1997 by Joélle Solimano. They offer clothes for any occasion with a chic French feel. An American in Paris is service oriented, and offers free, personal styling services to their customers. Unlike other stores I have reviewed, they are not a consignment shop. They carry the finest material and do ask that you handle the clothes with care.

If you’re an American fashionista looking to expand your shopping horizons abroad, check out An American in Paris. Stay stylish!
