Spend Your Turkey Day in a Different Way

Hello Weekenders! Can you believe that come tomorrow, Thanksgiving will only be a week away? That means only seven days until a turkey dinner, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and so many most delicious dishes (like homemade apple pie).

While Thanksgiving can be a time to sit down at your own table to enjoy the scrumptious Turkey Day fare, for others it can be a time of traveling or enjoying the holiday from the table of a restaurant. Because our spotlight “area” is still Northern Virginia, I thought this would be the perfect time to talk about some eateries where you can get you Thanksgiving fix without having to prepare it at home.

I found a great list that has selected different restaurants in Northern, Va. that will be serving the traditional holiday dishes. However,

some of them are a bit out of our 20-something price range, so here are some that I have highlighted that go along with our budgets:
